Since having my acne, I’ve done a crazy amount of research looking into the causes of acne and what can cause the outbreak. Lack of sleep and exercise, poor nutrition, lifestyle habits, pollution and stress, can all play havoc on your skin and cause you to have skin imbalances.

It’s been just over two months since my acne completely cleared up and I’ve now made my health and overall well-being the top of my agenda as I want to give my skin the best chance it has. 💚

I’m going to be covering each topic in more detail as the weeks progress, but for now I want to keep it simple. I’ve created my own smoothie recipe which not only tastes amazing (IMO) but also is the ultimate #skinfood recipe for your skin that contains ingredients not only your skin LOVES but also needs. 🥦🥬🥒🍏

You will need:

* 40g baby spinach {organic}

* 20g frozen papaya

* 20g frozen mango

* 20g frozen pineapple {all from @tescofood}

* 10g fresh ginger

* 10g turmeric {I buy mine from @hollandandbarrett}

* 30g ground flaxseed

* 100ml coconut water or filtered water
