Exfoliation for the nation 💫

If I were to ask you how many times you exfoliate your body a week, what would the answer be?

Exfoliating is essentially the process of removing dead skin cells from the surface of your skin. Our skin naturally sheds dead skin cells to make room for new cells to come through every 30 days.


As a general rule, I like to exfoliate 2-3 times a week; being Latina, I am fortunate to have naturally olive skin although it comes at a price in that I do have excessively oily skin. Exfoliating helps to clear any pimples, blackheads and clogged pores that may be hidden under the skin {and basically stops them from becoming spots!}.


I recently had the pleasure of collaborating with Get Scrubbed on their trademark coffee avena body scrub.

I must admit that I was a little sceptical initially at using a coffee infused scrub but wow, I really had no reason to be! It smells absolutely delicious (for all you coffee lovers out there!) and leaves your skin glowier than the sun! ☀️
